Dogs and Balloons

This week I discovered that my dog is crazy about balloons. (You can see the video below.)
I guess it must be some hunting instinct that tells her she needs to get the balloon.





Dogs and balloons got me thinking about Pixar's movie "Up." It is probably a good thing that Sasha was not part of that movie as she would have tried to pop every single balloon. According to Wired Science it would take 1,492,537 cubic feet of helium which would be 105,854 balloons 3 feet in diameter.
I also found that helium can be bought $20 for 9 cubic feet which means the helium alone would have cost about $3,316, 749. That's one expensive trip to South America.
